Appropriations
The OCAL LOBBYING GROUP has successfully secured millions of dollars in federal appropriations for many of our clients. For direct appropriation to clients or an appropriation to allow a client to compete for business, we possess the appropriations process expertise to best position clients for success. Each legislative session more than 1,000 special budget requests are submitted for consideration by the Legislature. Under Florida’s constitutionally mandated balanced budget, only a small fraction of these requests is funded and approved by the Governor. However, utilizing our relationships and access to decision makers, Ocal Lobbying Group ensures our clients’ requests are given the utmost consideration, right up until the end of the budget process. Whether it is lobbying for appropriations funding in healthcare, education, transportation, environment, or general government funding, our knowledge of the appropriations process provides unequal results for our clients.
